The Warrior

Verse I
Heavy dew is falling upon the vale
As she ponders with the mask of pale.
Unprotected from the chimera parade
For harm is coming to invade.
Still lays the darkness lit only by fire
For his ultimate expression of desire.
Words in strange tongues sung and whisper
Namtaru are coming closer and crisper.
Salve the warrior of souls lost not found
For salvation is found on hallowed ground.

Verse II

The warrior adorned by robe and toes
With a sword-like tongue to fight his foes.
Conundrum battle won by none
With malice forces, they are run.
Bemusement who is a friend and not
For never fear thyself forgot.
All sorrows passed from mindless sin
As blood sheds quietly in tears by kin.
The burning he can only cease
With cross in hand the prince of peace.

Verse III

Maidens young and old and fair in face
Cloaked by deceiving lies of grace.
The muse creates destruction sweet
Adored by all her patrons with conceit.
The inscription reads to him with care
His metaphors are pure despair.
For tongue may not be for lyric
It will create a losing pyrrhic.
Charmed by their words and adoration
None of them will bring salvation.

Verse IV

On foreign soil, the warrior is lost
A commitment to the end exhaust.
Damsels not of kin he trifles
Prevarication is their rifle.
Able to dazzle with his facile tongue
As if no ensue it has sung.
But near, the angel’s voices heal
With verity alleviation feel.
“Set free the words unsaid,
For he did not judge in infrared.”

Verse V

The warrior afoot he hurries,
Away from the troubled mind of worries.
As weary rests in scant manners
To flee the capers and the manors.
Refracted rays dim path misguided,
For it will haunt the truth decided.
Scarper his foot, yet they prevail,
Closer are coming in quantum assail.
Faces all like the warrior’s mirror,
Chant glory for the ancient shearer.

Wish

Wish and be silent
Forget the violent
Hear the flute
Of the brute
Struggles wither
Do not dither.

At the Water

I don't explain the world to you
and I don't explain how women are
what you want to see
you got to look for yourself by far.
I don't wake you, I don't ask you
I don't wear your skin
and for the silence in your tent
my heart beats with a wide grin.

       I am at the water
and if you want to be with me
then bring your boat down to the sand
and for the storm and night
       you got my hand.

Rendevous at midnight

We meet when everybody is asleep
and only mourners are up to weep
Rendevous at midnight
and I'm ready for the flight.
Will you take me there again?
And will you be my forever man?
So, we kiss beneath the moon
and dance with our favorite tune.
Like the poetry we recite
in love so beautiful we unite.
Rendevous at midnight
with the stars so bright
let's make it last forever and a day
and let our feelings guide us there.

AUTUMN'S BLISSFUL CHANGE

Autumn is here now to deliver
relief from everlasting summer
from long nights of weary quiver.

Yet, you're alone in your soul
I'll brace you from the break
until recovery of strength takes toll.

Don't give up on love when winter arrives
and snow covers the fields of daisies around
think of an angel white, she will help you revive.

When the flood of tears turn to ice
and you grieve for unknown joy
look for my soul to give inspiring advice.

I will warm your heart with awe
until you stand proud, gallant, and strong
because in a friend like you, I see no flaw.

Let's wipe the tears of pain and take charge
to begin the change of life in time at year's end
so when spring arrives you'll be ready to open your heart.

ANGEL'S ROMEO

Romeo, beau of love and life
you charm me with your strive.
Just like Keats and Blake your words appear
in a poetic form, music to my ears.
All time stands still and rests
when your voice chants to me at its best.
Yet my eyes never had you in my sight
I feel as I've known you from past nights.
No answers I have for this tale, you see
it's up to the stars if it will root like a tree.
I tremble to think it's him I seek
cause my heart could not endure another meek.
Romeo, are you angel's man?
I 'll give you my heart forever then.

LESSONS OF AN ANGEL

You used my angel wings to fly
yet there's no reason for me to cry.
I won't let you pick the feathers
one by one with the lies you gather.
Step up, before you fade away
they won't falter in your play.
The life you live is hard to grasp
and you wear that evangalist mask.
But I'm not bitter or even sad
actually the duty I served made me glad.
The spirit of Him has filled my soul
and I feel novel, I've been given that role.
There is no blame or guilt I wish upon you my friend
just healing and love for your heart to mend.
So, go in peace and find your God
remember the angel and what she taught.
