The Warrior

Verse I
Heavy dew is falling upon the vale
As she ponders with mask of pale.
Unprotected from the chimera parade
For harm is coming to invade.
Still lays the darkness lit only by fire
For his ultimate expression of desire.
Words in strange tongue sung and whisper
Namtaru are coming closer and crisper.
Salve the warrior of souls lost not found
For salvation is found on hallowed ground.

Verse II

The warrior adorned by robe and toes
With sword-like tongue to fight his foes.
Conundrum battle won by none
With malice forces they are run.
Bemusement who is friend and not
For never fear thyself forgot.
All sorrows past from mindless sin
As blood sheds quietly in tear by kin.
The burning he can only cease
With cross in hand the prince of peace.

Verse III

Maidens young and old and fair in face
Cloaked by deceiving lies of grace.
The muse creates destruction sweet
Adored by all her patrons with conceit.
The inscription reads to him with care
His metaphors in pure despair.
For tongue may not be for lyric
It will create the losing pyrrhic.
Charmed by their words and adoration
None of them will bring salvation.

Verse IV

On foreign soil the warrior is lost
A commitment to the end exhaust.
Damsels not of kin he trifles
Prevarication is their rifle.
Able to dazzle with his facile tongue
As if no ensue it has sung.
But near, the angel’s voices heal
With verity alleviation feel.
“Set free the words unsaid,
For he not judge in infared.”

Verse V

The warrior afoot he hurries,
Away from trouble mind of worries.
As weary rests in scantly manners
To flee the capers and the manors.
Refracted rays dim path misguided,
For it will haunt the truth decided.
Scarper his foot, yet they prevail,
Closer are coming in quantum assail.
Faces all like the warrior’s mirror,
Chant glory for the ancient shearer.

Wish

Wish and be silent
Forget the violent
Hear the flute
Of the brute
Struggles wither
Do not dither.
