On Shamrock Hill, part 17-18

part XVII : The Guilt

In the enchanted woods the deed was done
the Angel and the Fisherman had their sexual fun.
What a huge relief their loins both felt
as on the clover floor they both knelt.

In the aftermath of this great sexual task
the Fisherman reached once again for his mask.
He stood and reality began to sink in
spying broken wings, a result from this sin.

The Angel had walked through a humanistic door
the Fisherman knew she had been there before
he tried stopping her as wings were broken
but Angel charmed his desires without words spoken.

Now her wings lay in a million pieces
guilt pours their souls and no way releases
while the Angel putting back on her dress
with feelings of guilt she could not suppress.

Silence was not golden for the romantic two
leaving the woods returning to Shamrock Hill blue.
For the sweat and the passion was great
but angels impure, can never enter Heaven's Gate.

In the late hours of this long night
stars gone, covered by white clouds in sight.
The Fisherman and the Angel had nothing to say
just staring into the clouds now turned gray.

Not knowing what to do, they prayed out loud
then blizzards of snow fell from the clouds.
On Shamrock Hill the snow fell for days
the lovers became lost in a fogged haze.

Finally the separating snow began quickly to subside
the two guilty hearts surprisingly did not collide
as the Angel in dirty snow looked on
she realized that somehow the Fisherman was gone.

part XVIII : The Forgiveness of Angel's Sin

Angel's heart was torn in two
just like her wings of feather
her eyes had turned a somber blue
in this nasty, hellish weather.

Where was her Hero, the one she loved
why did he leave and went hiding?
She cried to the Heavens above
but her tears were not subsiding.

On Shamrock Hill all white and cold
she laid down her body in distress.
No arms around her with warmth to hold
she began to freeze in her transparent dress.

Her tears turned into ice of crystals
her soul so scared from sin.
The heart was bleeding from hell's pistols
and nothing seemed to end this din.

It was almost the end for her, you see
but a hand reached out to help.
A creature with blankets and tea
wiped Angel's face with leaves of kelp.

" how come human love hurts so much? "
She asked him in somber despair,
" When all this angels wanted to touch
a mortal soul with Heaven's care. "

" Forgiveness will come to you,
and your love will return.
Passion will once again be true
for even in snow it will burn."

This is what the creature assured
the Angel, comforting her so caring.
Some solitude must first be endured,
he spoke from behind the mask he was wearing.

that night she prayed to God
and all the angels she knew,
to forgive her, now a human heart
and in deep slumber she drew.
